All proceeds of the run/walk will go to the families of officers that will be honored at National Police Week in May of 2009 and to the Arizona Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors for their ongoing retreats and seminars that help to “rebuild shattered lives”. The mission of both events and the organization is to help the survivors of line of duty deaths in the healing process. At Police Week they provide seminars through peer-support and professional counselors to assist families to move along on their path of grief and Arizona COPS continues to provide support through support groups, activities, and financial assistance to attend various COPS seminars.

Quest to Cure Sickle Cell Foundation is a non-profit organization formed in 2003 by a single mother of five; in which two of them, a set of identical twins suffer from the most severe form of sickle cell disease. Over 100,000 individuals are affected. Quest to Cure is an organization dedicated to helping children with sickle cell disease focus on life not pain. Since inception, Quest to Cure has conducted two successful Summer Camps serving over 100 children.

Kids' Chance of Arizona is a nonprofit corporation originally developed in 1996 as part of a national movement to provide financial scholarships for children of permanently or catastrophically injured or deceased workers to complete their education. As of July 1, 2008, Kids Chance has provided 127 scholarships totaling $237,000.Double-click here to edit the text.

All proceeds of the run/walk will go to the Arizona Concerns of Police Survivors and Wills for Heroes Foundation. Both organizations support and provide assistance to the families of our Law Enforcement Heroes. Arizona Concerns of Polices survivor’s mission is to help families of fallen officers “Rebuild Shattered Lives” through peer-support groups, activities. Wills for Heroes programs provide essential legal documents free of charge to our nation’s first responders, including wills, living wills, and powers of attorney. By helping first responders plan now, they ensure their family's legal affairs are in order before a tragedy hits.
